O Healing Light of Christ - As with all of Carey's music for adults, O Healing Light of Christ embraces the deeply personal relationship between God and individual and the communal nature of our walk with Christ. 

This collection contains songs of healing, compassion, grief, remembrance, and consolation. While many of these poignant songs will surely find their way into the liturgical repertoire of churches throughout the world, they will also help bring peace and healing to individuals through prayer and song.               As with all of Carey's music for adults, O Healing Light of Christ embraces the deeply personal relationship between God and individual, focusing on the communal nature of our walk with Christ.

This collection contains songs of healing, compassion, grief, remembrance, and consolation. A sung interpretation of Psalm 40, "Your Love Lifted Me" contains the essential elements of healing: waiting patiently, prayer, surrender to and acceptance of God's intervention, praise, service, and discipleship as our response. It is especially appropriate for Lent as a responsorial or general hymn.

Born from Carey's experiences as a hospital chaplain, "Carry Me, O Lord" was written to assist those in grief, to help them know that they are not alone in their grief because the Lord will be there to carry them.

While many of these poignant songs will surely find their way into the liturgical repertoire of churches throughout the world, they will also help bring peace and healing to individuals through prayer and song.
