We, Will, Want No More
by Tom Kendzia

A delightful blend of some of Tom's previously published works and songs available for the first time in this collection.

We, Will, Want No More is a delightful blend of some of Tom's previously published works and songs available for the first time in this collection. Some songs have been re-arranged and re-recorded in a fresher, simpler style that's more accessible to parish music groups.

Offering songs for a variety of liturgical moments, including gathering, dismissal, Communion and more, this collection also covers a variety of seasons, from Advent and Lent to Ordinary Time and beyond.

Originally intended for use as a gathering song for the Easter season, "Come to the Lord" also serves well for any occasion when an especially "upbeat" hymn is desired. True to the spirit of Psalm 42, "As a Doe," is the voice of the exiled psalmist longing for Mount Zion, the voice of an exiled people longing for the face of God presented here in an uncomplicated musical setting.

Other songs include music for funerals, weddings, ordinations, reconciliation services, confirmation and more. The available octavo packet gives your musicians everything they need to bring these inspiring songs to life.

 List of Songs:
Come, O Spirit of the Lord
 Lord, Come and Save Us
 Come to the Lord
 In Your Love Remember Me
Gather Us In / Gathering Rite
 O Let Your Light
Dismissal Rite / Let Your Will Be Done
 Send Us Your Spirit
 As a Doe
 We, Will, Want No More
 I, The Lord
 The Path of Your Return

Committed to parish ministry since 1977, he has served Catholic parishes in Connecticut, Arizona, and Rhode Island. He also works as a liturgical consultant for William H. Sadlier, Inc., Harcourt Religion, Our Sunday Visitor and other major curriculum companies. His articles have been published in a variety of national magazines and books.

A prolific composer, he has over 30 collections to his credit, including Lead Us to the Water, Clothed in Love and Endless Is Your Love. His many instrumental recordings of Celtic melodies and beloved worship songs are extremely popular. His compositions “I, the Lord,” “Stand by Me,” “The Eyes and Hands of Christ” and “Psalm 51: Create in Me” have been part of the standard missal-hymnal repertoire for decades. His latest albums are Get On Board, recorded with ValLimar Jansen, and Christ Within Me.
